hat are the hardware and software requirements of Sell-n-Serve?

2. We do not have the IT resources to host Sell-n-Serve. Can NDA host it for us?
Yes,
Sell-n-
Serve can be hosted
by NDA or at your premise.
3. How are new products added to the Sales Portal?
Products with simple configurations can be added to the Product Catalog by authorized users without programming. More complex product configurations are initially added by NDA. Once added, you can make changes in the Product Catalog without programming.
4. Can different functionality be given to customers versus
internal employees
in the Sales Portal
?
Yes, customers and internal employees can have different privileges in the Sales Portal. For example, you might want to allow your Sales Reps to give discounts on quotes but not your customers. Different employees might also be given different functionality. For example, Management might be able to see both price and cost information whereas Sales Reps might only see pricing. The user privileges are assigned using the administrative settings.

hat happens if a customer can not solve his/her problem using the Help Wizard or Knowledge Base?
A request or case with history is automatically created if a customer can not find an answer to a problem using the Help Wizard. Once the problem is solved, the Help Wizard is automatically updated for future inquiries. A customer can also directly log in a case if a solution is not found in the Knowledge Base.
6. Do you support integration with Salesforce.com?
Yes. Sell-n-Serve's quote functionality can be directly accessed from a Salesforce.com Opportunity. Summary information from the quote is saved back to the Salesforce.com Opportunity for downstream use.
